My Hankie Spankie (that's what I liked to call him) was adopted. After only a half hour of posting, I received a call from a family that has been waiting for a Brittany for two years. I met with them and felt that they were a perfect fit. He is now living with a new family; Dad, Mom, Sister and has a brother (golden lab Gryffin). I am so incredibly happy to have found such a wonderful family to take him and give him a home. Losing my brother was hard enough, but then when I had to find a place for Hank, it became even harder. Thank you again for helping me to find Hank a new home, Rescue Me!

Thanks, Rescue Me! Katy was adopted by an elderly couple who live on a farm, have two other rescue dogs and have raised and trained Brittanys their entire lives. She will live in the house, but will have access to the outside covered kennel through a doggy door. They seemed very knowledgeable and caring. We screened several potential adopters, but I was comfortable with these people. I am in a situation that was difficult for me to give up my girl due to a protracted illness. In the end, I just wanted what was best for Katy.

Rescue Me has been more angel than human in helping us find a good home for our sweet Brittany, Leo. I want to commend Lisa Vernon especially! She was as helpful and nice as is humanly possible, and deserves special recognition.

Maggie was adopted by a very nice young family. She is doing well, and loves to play with her new canine friend and the family's children. Thank you, Rescue Me.

So happy to send Hannah off to her forever home with two, cute, little girls who had already decided her bed was going in their room! This family was not the first to have an interest in Hannah but after a few emails and a phone call with her forever Dad I was sure it was the perfect for all! Thank you, Rescue Me.

We saw this dog on the website of the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society, where he was being held in their shelter. While he has the markings of a Brittany, he is much smaller (about 21 pounds). We met him and fell in love with his sweet, quiet disposition. We adopted him. It has only been in the week that we've had him that my wife discovered his picture on your website, and we just wanted you to know that he has been adopted, is being given lots of love, and spends his evenings sleeping on the sofa while we watch TV. He can look forward to a life of pampering in this household!

There is a sign on the door of my local shelter, 'Animals left here have a 5% chance of adoption, all others are euthanized.' It drove me crazy, so I have two spots in my home for fosters. Rosie was one of those darlings. After posting on Rescue Me!, I got a call from a lovely lady that said she just retired and always wanted a dog that she could train and be a part of everything in her life. After background checks, she was a perfect match. Rosie is now the Queen of Charleston, South Carolina. I just love adoptions!

Hershey has been adopted by a great man. He has owned Brittanys for many years and is overjoyed to have her. He will use her for birding and that is what she needs the most, a job. If you have owned a Brittany you know what I mean. Everyone is a winner in this story. Thank you, Lisa and Hershey.

Hi, I fostered Rosie for Furever Angels, and she is just darling. She came out of the shelter to Furever with three sisters. She found her forever home yesterday and will be living in Goose Creek with a newly retired couple. She will be spoiled, spoiled, spoiled. It is good because her life to this point was not very good. She came in covered in fleas, intestinal worms, major fly strikes on her ears, and oh so thin. After six weeks she turned into a true beauty. Have a wonderful life, my little Rosie, now named Cookie.

I want to thank Rescue Me! Spud found a forever home. I had a lot of inquiries to my surprise, but I was very picky on his placement otherwise he would have had a forever home with me. I will miss him dearly, he is so smart and learned very quickly. Thank you again I will be sending a donation your way. Bev & Spud

A couple from just north of Houston called and asked for photographs of Lilly. I sent them and upon receipt, they called. They drove from their home to Dallas, fell in love with Lilly and took her home.

Dear Jeff, I have found the Brittany's a home. I was very lucky to have been contacted almost immediately by a fellow who was interested in the pair of Brittany's. Sounds like they will be going to a great home with children and room to play. We plan to meet this weekend to give him the dogs. I am very appreciative of this service. Thanks--Jill
